COACH TONY BARTON

Originally from Essex, England, Coach Tony Barton grew up around soccer as a defender and later played at club and semi-professional level, including a season with Southend United.

His work today combines coaching, officiating, player development, team support and continued soccer education. That broad background helps shape a practical, player-first approach to development.

The goal is not to force every player down the same path. It is to help each player identify the next challenge that fits them.

US Soccer coaching licenses, a UEFA coaching license, England Football education, FIFA Talent Identification Foundation Course and continued professional development through NFHS and other recognized coaching education.

Licensed U.S. Soccer referee experience across recreational, competitive, adult, indoor and futsal soccer, plus Oklahoma Soccer Association Referee Assignor credentials and practical match-management experience.

TOPSoccer and Special Olympics training, England Football disability-football education, safeguarding, sudden cardiac arrest, heat illness prevention, mental wellness and other player-welfare education.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Players develop best when they are challenged appropriately, given purposeful repetitions, encouraged to make decisions and allowed to learn through both success and mistakes.

Training should improve technique and game understanding, but it should also build confidence, communication, responsibility and a genuine love for the game.

Training for players across ages, levels and positions through small groups, goalkeeper training, private sessions, team training, First Kicks and clinics.

Frontier United FC is the team side of the organization, giving players a team environment and tournament opportunities under the Frontier United name.
